Policies, Handbooks, & Company Culture
Like us, we're sure you believe that all people should be treated fairly and equally. That’s why it’s so shocking to realize that in this day and age, it is actually still legal under our state’s laws to fire a hardworking employee, deny them an apartment, deny them service in a restaurant, and otherwise discriminate against people simply because they’re gay or transgender. In the absence of inclusive anti-discrimination laws, it is up to individual businesses and organizations to enact anti-discrimination policies and establish company cultures that are truly inclusive.

Training & Education
The GLO Center offers a variety of trainings and can tailor them to fill the right gaps and increase your cultural competency and overall effectiveness. Trainings range from 30 mins to 90 mins typically, depending on the setting and desired outcomes, and are billed at $250/hour for for-profit companies and $100/hour for non-profits. A limited number of scholarships are available which can reduce or cover the cost. We don’t want cost to be a barrier, while we value our time and expertise.
